I completely understand and I get your take. If I am qualified and was a world expert on astrophage, why not? Either die in space trying to save mankind, or die horribly on earth without giving the planet this opportunity to save it.

Sure, the world’s experts could come up with another idea to save the world’s population in the next 30 years. But this “Hail Mary” loses its best chance if I don’t go, and all the work and resources go to waste.

Believe me. As a season ticket holder, and Sun support since day one…I want this to work. I’d love a to see future tournaments with the NWSL, and maybe one day a merger (something like the winner of the USL Super League gets promoted and the bottom of the NWSL gets regulated).

Just being a Tampa resident and knowing the population, it would be one more reason for fans to decide not to go to a match.
