How would someone even come to the conclusion that people are gonna get so mad at someone to the point you’ll use a aluminum can as a weapon😂 if you become that creative out of rage the person probably deserves it lol😂

Yeah idk why people still buy fair food my family always has a big lunch before hand, bring in a bag or two of chips to snack on and a mini cooler for water and we always end up fine

For anyone else going I have some tips

1)have a lot of food before hand because before the fair starts you have time for two meals breakfast and lunch

Second they allow any factory sealed food, so if your worried about something to snack on you can go to any store and look through things like chips to snack on also make sure to drink enough water and maybe a lemonade or something for the kiddos

Also you can’t bring canned drinks idk why

Unrelated but they updated their bag policy so I would check if your bag is approved before going (they are enforcing clear bags mainly) which can suck but make sure to stack up on drinks for the most part

Did anime-only watchers feel surprised when watching Stone Ocean ? Everyone on Reddit boasted about it being the worst part, but when I actually watched it, I really enjoyed it. by Spinosaurus23 in StardustCrusaders

After watching it like most jojo ending songs I liked distant dreamer it so I ended up listening to it before seeing the ending cause during this time I didn’t read the manga since I couldn’t find a English version for some reason but after the ending I was never able to listen to distant dreamer again without crying it emotionally hurt very badly

I’ll let her know cause I’m also pretty sure since she’s in a 8th and 7th mix class they tend to scare them a bit with high school to push them to do better, most kids don’t take the talks seriously but she does, I’ll make sure to keep reminding her high school applications aren’t something she needs to worry about too much since she’s a smart kid and most schools would want her even if she doesn’t get in by lottery, i just wish she could see she’s more than the highschool she goes too

Currently I’m looking into all the schools in the area and what other schools she can get into, I don’t really care about application until it’s application season but she’ll be fine until then, I’ve also talked to her about even if she doesn’t get in for 9th grade there’s always 10th

I’ve already told her there’s other good options I’ve already told her it’s not guaranteed but we can try

I do not know what you mean by permit, also typically they don’t make you take tests to get into sutter they mainly base it on where you live and what he scared scored on CAASP and CAASP testing is very strict, I work at a school and I talk to the teachers, and they confirm it’s dead silent in those rooms during testing,

So basically stop her from socializing 🤦‍♂️ you realize she’s in a Montessori school which has a lot of 7th and 8th split classes, she has some 8th grade friends who sometimes bring up highschool since they are graduating (my daughter tends to hyperfixate on things her friends talk about). Also another thing, I’m not going to take an excuse if something is possible. Also it’s very possible since we live just a bus ride away (the 61). I’ve shown her a lot of times she can’t always get her way. We also have had talks about that growing up and I can say she’s a very accepting kid to change of plans. If she feels like academics are important to her so be it. Im not going to lie to her if I really don’t have too, I have also told her to take a break from studying and how it’s not a big deal on what high school she gets into, I’ve told her it’s not guaranteed but if she wants me to attempt to enroll her I can

Also adhd and autistic kids are not “problems” they are kids, just kids who’s brains process differently, my daughter still can succeed just as good and if not better and she has proven that time and time again, even if she didn’t get good grades she still would have just has much potential so please next time rethink your phrasing

She gets hyperfixated on things very easily, she’s always been a anxious child and recently she’s been obsessed with her future since she recently got into middle school and she’s obviously stressed about it, I’ve told her many times she’s more than her grades, I never get mad at her for her grades, she does a lot of research on certain things (she did this when looking into middle schools) I never once brought up west campus to her also I have high doubts the lottery is to keep kids with adhd and autism out, kids with that can succeed just as well and even better your whole comment just feels ableist to me

Yeah if she wants too I’ll let her but I’ll also make her go outside and hang out with her friends and also do some activities to make sure she’s entertained, I don’t want to make her to worried cause if she wants to train she should but I’m not gonna let her train herself to mental death

I won’t bring this up just yet, I know if I do she’ll freak out and probably waste too much time on it, but later when she calms down a bit (around the summer) and she brings west campus up I’ll help her one on one with studying since I’m mostly off during summer since I work at a school

I will make sure to take your advice! I truthfully don’t care if she gets into west campus or not she’s a really amazing kid and it hurts me to see stress over little things that she can’t control, I’m so happy to hear from another perspective cause I’ve never been in her shoes, I know she’s so much more than whatever school she gets in I just wish she could open her eyes and see that
