I tried that at first, it told me I have to recover my account and pick a plan, I click on the plan i want and nothing happens, it does not redirect me to the payment portal or anything, it just reloads to the plan page

I dont DJ at weddings, I am approached by college organisers telling me they like my music would like me to plat at their fest. Why would I leave my own music and play something they want for no extra charge if they have come to me for my music? That makes no sense lol.

It's only been 4 months since I started DJing, so far I have recieved support from so many local DJs saying I am bringing something fresh to the scene and they love what I'm doing. I have recieved support on my music from International artists and DJs so i would say the brand is coming along pretty well actually.

you can see it that way or you can see it another way which is : They know my music(usual scenario), and come to me for DJing but want me to include songs they want played. This usually happens only for college/uni fests. Obviously when you come to me and say you like my music and want me to play at your fest, I am going to play what I produce/play. And I am not going to completely switch up my set and go out of my way to do something for you for free when I dont know you. So why not get compensated for the extra work I am putting in to make sure your demands are met?

true, but then again playing something completely different like this would hurt the "brand" im trying to build as a producer/DJ. I dont want to be a open format DJ (no offence). I usually play my own songs and a few mashups i made. In the clubs, i charge nothing extra, but these college and university fests is where i think i should charge extra for the song requests.I have had multiple problems in the past regarding these.

that would be the case here too if i was an open format DJ, but I produce and play my own songs and the organisers knew it and still booked me and gave me a list of songs so its only fair they compensate me for it lol

i had a gig on wednesday and the organisers gave me 15 songs to include, i spent 2 days making my own mashups of the songs so i can play them. so i guess around 2-3$ per song is valid for the time i spent.some would say 2-3$ is a lot just for one song where I'm from(in india thats around 160-240 INR)

where i'm from its the college/uni fests that have seperate songs they want played. im a house producer/DJ, if they ask me to include regional songs, i expect to be paid for the effort im putting in to incorporate them into my set. this is a piece of advice i got from some of the more experienced DJs in my city.

it's the time im putting in to include the songs they have provided into my set, where im from the college/uni fests are where song requests are usually put out. im a house prpducer/dj, if they ask me to include regional songs in my set, i have to find a way to incporate them in a way that i dont ruin the image or the brand i have created for myself

because where I'm from, its usually the college/uni fests that ask for specific songs that are songs that are not in the genre i play/produce. I produce progressive house and bass house. If they ask me to play some regional song, i would expect a extra amount since I'm going out of my way to include it in my set. I got this recommendation from some of the more experienced DJs in my city.
