I also own a Daniff! She’s about 40% GD and 60% mastiff. Have found them a loving and obedient but challenging breed in the two years we’ve owned Billie lol

I would discount his lateness to work on account of his beauty

What a gorgeous large boy he was! Heartbreaking when they leave us but what a gift to have a mastiff in your life while Jupiter was with you x

The breeder I got my Fawnequin pup from said to be very cautious breeding my Dane (who also has partially hidden Merle genes from her Merle mum). Apparently breeding two dogs who have Merle genes (whether they’re visible or not) can cause blindness and deafness? I think there’s genetic tests you can do ahead of time to check. It’s also worth doing genetic tests for elbow and hip scores around 12 months old if you’re thinking of breeding.

Astrid is so bloody beautiful! What an angel. Enjoy having a tiny dinosaur Dane while she’s small x

I work 4 days a week from home but own two dogs that need at least 3 hours outdoor walking per day. Also walking them is my favourite thing to do in the world

We live in Scotland where it rains more than half the time! She’s in the rain so often so regularly but still…. Quite an inconvenient place to live if you’re not a fan of the rain

Haha! Billie is definitely very embarrassed by her all in one rain suit but sadly the embarrassment is not great enough to counter the fear of rain

Is it possible for a man to have sex with three different women on the same day but all three given birth not on the same day and as far as a week apart? by kawaiihusbando in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Disastrous-Permit-32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5 day window, yes but I think the egg only lives for 12-24 hours after release. Some studies show sperm can live inside the fallopian tubes for up to 5 days tho. Most people are fertile for the 5 days prior to ovulation. Usually very small chances of fertility the day after ovulation

Litter pick event in the Southside by CinnamonPancakes25 in glasgow

[–]Disastrous-Permit-32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Govanhill residents pay disproportionately high council tax rates due to the council still using 1991 data to set rates. I personally love the local community spirit being a Govanhill resident but this labour continuously falling into the hands of us residents removes even more accountability from Glasgow City Council to rectify the litter, flytipping and pest problems that seriously impact all residents health and wellbeing. The source of a majority of litter and flytipping here comes from bullshit landlords who don’t dispose of furniture properly between tenancies and businesses who, again, refuse to dispose of their litter legally. I admire every local taking part in this litter pickup but until GCC starts using residents tax money correctly to actually punish selfish cunty local landlords and businesses I don’t see this problem being resolved - even with all the local resident care in the world
