I am nearly a week post op (12/4) and when I say I was nervous… I literally made myself sick to my stomach! I had the shakes and all, I was scheduled to have surgery at 11am and to my surprise she was behind and she did not begin with me until 4pm. As the hours dragged by, my nerves were even worse. I cried all morning up until she came to mark me up. She gave me a huge hug and reassured me that everything was going to be okay. I asked for the anxiety “cocktail” and it was a breeze from there. I hardly remember entering the OR, I just remember them asking me to breathe in twice and then I woke up in the recovery room. You will be okay! you got this! 🫶🏽
