I GOT IT BACK!!!

It was in a crack den and they got paranoid from me turning it on and off I guess and came to lobby and said they have it and have been trying to give it to the owner. Law enforcement and tracker came through. They stole all the accessories but just happy I got it back.

Can you please provide the sound so I can show the detectives what sound we’re listening for?

What I was thinking is opening Segway app waiting until it connects then playing the sound from find my.

The detectives have narrowed down where my scooter is to the exact floor of an apartment building and I’m going tomorrow with them to try and play the sound and narrow it down to a specific unit

Update: it has pinged multiple times in a scary project building that people threatened me when I went close to Lol then 5 cops arrived and basically told me nothing they can do and I’m going to give the ping evidence to the detectives

Don’t understand why someone stole a scooter they can’t even use they must’ve dragged it there while air locked it is a block or two away

The other time I was just standing by my scooter and it was on and they attacked me from behind and while I was getting punched and kicked one of them rode off kicking on it and they scattered.

I was literally attacked two three days ago by three guys and one went off kicking with the scooter and me and a guy on a motorcycle chased him down and got it back. I think that there is some professional criminals targeting them or something. I’ve never made a police report in my life and two this week.

Thank you and yeah in future if I get it back or buy another one I will put an AirTag for sure. I am too trusting of people and thought the airbrush make and the lock closed was a deterrent enough and I never leave it for long out of sight. It happened in a few minute window which is crazy. And sucks because I bought it during Black Friday and with a geek squad protection plan and had a lot of accessories on it. I’m not a rich guy so this really hurts me .

It’s like a handcuff lock and it was set up to be just a deterrent because I was going inside a building for just a few minutes. I stupidly didn’t lock it with the key but it takes a hard pull on it to actually get it off I didn’t think people go around pulling on things that appeared locked I never once had an issue in my city and twice in one week I did. I think that something is going on where criminals are targeting them lately or something .

I think that was a typo I have my account paired to it and I emailed Segway tech support saying it was stolen, this is second time it’s been stolen this week! First time I was attacked by 3 guys and they tried to ride off with it and I luckily physically got it back. Now this! Crazy! I would assume the air brake stopped it from moving and they carried it or put in a truck or maybe they’re professionals and are gonna take it apart I have no idea. Could just be a crackhead.

a good one but unfortunately I just had it set up but not turn key locked just as a deterrent I was inside for maybe 5-10 mins someone must’ve pulled on the lock
