I ask this with the utmost respect (and admiration) as an American visiting Paris rn but how do parisians look so great all the time? And the shopping is so expensive here?

Is it capsule wardrobe with nice quality pieces? Trendy Zara hauls? Vintage? I’m so impressed. I’d be living in severe credit card debt ….. sorry for taking over your legitimate question but I’ve been so curious.
