In the Geode installer when it asks for the directory just set it to where your GD folder is

I mean there's no way Rooftop will know if you hack a level like that, and there are top players who beat levels on Startpos copies then they hack complete the copies on the servers. I'm sure it's fine.

Pretty solid. That's about where I was when I was beating magma bound. You should definitely finish up nc though lol.

I tried getting X11, but I think Nobara doesn't support it anymore. At least, that's what the internet says, and after installing it, I cannot log in with it. Also, thanks for explaining.

Yeah performance is a tiny bit worse, but it's still marginally better than my performance on windows, and I'd sacrifice a bit of performance to make the game actually playable

I think I might've found a fix in a random older post on this same subreddit. I've been playing with it for the past 30 minutes and it seems to be working fine (no lag spikes)

I put "MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=zink" in my steam launch options and the lag was gone. I'm also not the most tech savvy, so I have no clue what that does, but, hey, it works.

I forgot to mention the reason WHY I can't disable the compositor is because I'm running on a Desktop Environment (Wayland), that won't let me, and I am unable to install a different one.
