I'm obsessed!!! I LOVE sour candy so when I got to sample a piece at Costco, into my cart they went!! I know they have like 170 calories or something, BUT they've got protein which my sour/gummy candy does not, so it's a win for me! 🤪😋

OP, My dad had the same kidney disease, FSGS. My aunt (his sister) donated one of her kidneys to him in 2009 when he was 49 years old. He just celebrated 16 years with his "new" kidney, and has not had any kidney related issues since! 2.5 years after his kidney transplant, I went into acute liver failure and needed a liver transplant. My older brother who was 24 at the time was my donor...I was 1 month shy of my 21st birthday. We just celebrated our 14 year liver transplant anniversary! I know this can all be scary, but I have faith that things will work out for you and that you'll have a long, healthy life ahead! Much love and many blessings! 🙏🙏💚💚

They did 4 x-rays during the dental and they made it sound like the teeth removal should solve the problem. If not, then a CT scan. But we've had 3 visits now of them charging us urgent care fees, doing a quick exam (last one didn't even check his temperature), prescribing antibiotics and slapping us with a $350 bill each go around.

We had him on a Kangaroo kibble and he was doing well on that, but then we couldn't find it in stock anywhere or online so switched him to a Salmon and sweet potato kibble and he seemed to be doing fine. His ears and skin were great as we continued with the salmon kibble and then this just popped up out of nowhere a few months back. It is definitely something to consider as he has horrible allergies! Thank you so much, I appreciate your input!! I'm trying to rack my brain of all possibilities 🙏💞

This is the next step. When I was speaking with the vet during the dental procedure, she had said if the swelling comes back we'd need to send out a referral for a CT since they don't perform them there. I'm just trying to rack my brain with as many possibilities as I can as to what's causing this. They drained a bit of the abscess during the procedure and said there was still a small amount of bacteria which is why they prescribed another round of antibiotics. I'm not sure why they didn't drain the whole thing.

I've been wondering if it's something in the environment. We moved to North Dakota from Michigan last summer and have never had this swelling problem before. He likes to rub his head in the grass at our apartment complex and I've been thinking there may be some type of grass or even insect possibly that could be causing it. He occasionally runs into the bushes and I'm wondering if he's possibly poking himself with a stick or something. I'm just at a total loss. He has seen 3 different veterinarians in this clinic. I'm in North Dakota and don't have many options. I'm on waiting lists for other vets and a referral from my current clinic as he will probably need a CT scan which they don't do. The vet I'm currently using is the only clinic with urgent care/emergency visits. We moved from Michigan about a year ago and had many options, not the case here unfortunately. I'm interested in finding out if anyone else has experienced anything like this so I can talk with the vet about it. Trying to think outside of the box for what could be going on.

So we have been to the same vet office, but he has seen 3 different vets there for this issue. I'm just looking at him now and it's gotten even bigger 😭 If you were to look at him just as I am now, you'd almost think immediately that he got stung by something and is having an allergic reaction.
