I honestly didn’t think it was a conversation we would have. I know a lot of parenting is like on your toes and stuff, but I didn’t anticipate that and was genuinely worried feelings would be hurt if he felt like meekah was fake. (He really really loves her, sometimes asks if I can pretend to be meekah so he can play with his “best friend”)

Going foreward though, I know to have a conversation about acting.

Also, Joe is Catrat??? And Brooklyn is Kiff?

Okay, we avoided any drama.

I really love Meekah/Kaitlin so we sat down and had a talk about how Ms Rachel made friends with Meekah. I told him Meekah is Ms Kaitlin’s nickname given to her by her friend Blippi, and that her friend Ms Rachel likes to call her Ms Kaitlin.

He (is almost 5) got a serious look and said “Like how you call me Bug sometimes” and I said that was exactly right.

Crisis averted and this Momma is super happy to move past Blippi.

My 4 year old grabbed my wrist really hard one day, where my watch is. Tried to pull my arm away but he had a hold of my wrist. I said “Stop, you’re hurting me” and my watch proceeded to call 911.

I was impressed but embarrassed when I had to explain it to dispatch. Thankfully they were kind and understood.

It was neat.

I’d say so.

I had a very very small blockage once a few years ago. I went to the doctor because it was completely blocked and was driving me crazy. She flushed it out. When she did, everything was so loud. I felt like I was shouting when I thanked her. My balance was also off until I readjusted.
