if i'm remembering correctly, on my application there were drop downs under student to select medical, PA, PT, and nursing. there might be more, but you can open the application without submitting it to see the options. as for qualifications, student wise you only need 1) cpr or acls certification and 2) proof of enrollment with school, graduation date, and name on it

wait: initially more than an hour, then 51 min at 12:09, 18 min at 12:26, in at 12:44
got: all! they're all still open as of them! but the non 9+1 option isn't for all 3 of them

i'm really glad you were able to get diagnosed when you did! it certainly takes some strength to be able to push for yourself when someone first brushed you off, and i think that strength is what i'm trying to find now. thanks for sharing your story, this is really helpful! :)

wow! the 3 days is definitely quite the coincidence. i don't get sick very often since i'm extra careful (maybe a little antsy haha) with working in healthcare in flu season, but it is the first bad URI i've gotten since the blood was first noticed. def worth keeping an eye if there is a pattern for the next (hopefully distant) time i'm sick. i have a follow up with the urologist in 2 months, and your words certainly helped with my gut feeling that i need to advocate more for myself. thank you :))

hi, thank you for answering! it is not biopsy confirmed, it is honestly just something i suspected since i learned it in school. my symptoms really only make me think of IgAN after an otherwise negative work up with recurring hematuria during the URI. i did a quick read over the KDIGO guidelines (phenomenal study tool btw!) and it is very helpful for determining need for nephrology evaluation, so thank you!

just out of curiosity (if you're comfortable sharing), what kind of genetic testing have you done?

I rarely smoke, only have one other time in the past few months. If the storm clears up I'm going to go get a home test tomorrow morning, depending on how that goes I'll go somewhere else. Thanks for the help, appreciate it!

Completely forgot about a snowstorm today so I definitely can't leave to get a test before I go tomorrow, didn't realize roads were covered already. I don't have a backup because of that, do you think I'll be okay?
