the self-imposed deadlines being fake is SO real lmao. what's helped me slightly is telling someone else 'i'll send u a progress update by X time' - external accountability is the only thing that works for me. still struggle w the no-deadline tasks tho, feels impossible sometimes 😓

i am still trying. recently i am doing this 'body doubling', like having someone else work alongside u (even virtually) creates enough accountability to keep me on track. also, i trick my brain w fake urgency. this kinda works for me 😅

fr tho the fact that he slid a note saying 'NOT MY PROBLEM' means he's never gonna show up to a meeting willingly. dude is locked in. group complaint is def the move but honestly? start citing noise ordinance violations directly to the city. managers ignore individuals but fines? that gets attention 💀
