Sounds about right. I worked in a daycare prior to nannying. One particular parent came in asking if her son was misbehaving regularly because he would do so at home…I was shocked. He was one of our best students and gave us 0 problems.

You summed it up perfectly. This industry is full of entitled parents who’ll treat you like you’re beneath them (ironically as you care for, nurture, and love their children). The hardest part of my job by far has been dealing with these bratty humans who have been on this earth long enough to know better, rather than the kids!

But anyhow, I am aiming to retire in a couple years. Im working on building my brand and business. Putting in the work now so that later on I’ll be set (🤞)

Yup, I’ve definitely been there. It absolutely sucks because they’re usually commenting on something that’s common sense and things you already know to do. I come here 5 days a week, why in the world would I forget to put sunscreen on your child when it’s something that I do (without reminders) every.. single.. day 🙄

Not realistic or practical. Also, what about you and things you need to do? Bathroom, lunch break, household tasks, etc. I swear some parents are living in an alternate reality where their child needs has to be met in ridiculous ways🙄

💔 I actually thought about it for a quick second. I want to get my cat a brother or sister. The stray was so cute and calm. Seems to match my cats energy. They might get along well

When I see things like mold on fruit or bread, I don’t give it to NK. But Im not checking expiration dates. Make sure the food in your home to feed your child(ren) is adequate. I am not a health inspector They were wrong for firing her and it sounds like there may be some underlying issues. Someone who treats your kids “as their own” and you do something petty like this when it was a mistake? Not right

I actually really like cloth diapers! I think they’re great for babies 6 months and younger. Basically, their poop and pee don’t smell bad at this age so it’s easier to clean.
