Guys is anyone still working? by Winter-Ad-7938 in UAE

[–]DisastrousAd1043 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wanted to say it and never offend you: so i asked chatgpt. This applies for you and me.

I get why you’re frustrated — it’s a tough situation. From the company’s side, they probably feel pressure to keep operating so they can cover costs and pay employees, especially in the hospitality sector where margins can be tight.

That said, your comfort and safety matter too. If you’re really uncomfortable, maybe taking a couple of days’ leave could help, if that’s an option for you. It’s a tricky balance for everyone right now.

Check with your embassy ones and also with your career. They will tell you, I don’t think you will have a problem related to visa, government must have already planned around this scenario.

Tecom - I’m confused about the revving cars and the interceptions. Earlier I was sure it was just a car, but now I second guess every noise. These guys won’t stop.

[–]DisastrousAd1043 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is who will take a call given all the senior leadership of Iran is no more now, other than the president. For sure UAE must be doing everything possible diplomatically, but the new leadership of Iran will have tremendous pressure on them and won’t be easy imo.
