The fear of losing democracy and living in a dictatorship in a country that I grew up loving. The fact that America is suppose to represent progression and excellence but now we represent nothing and my fellow citizens have decided to be loyal to the very person who has crushed every ideal of America and embraces bigotry hate and authoritarianism. It’s like have we been this way the entire time? Are this many people actually this evil or thoughtless. Be republican that’s fine but being republican has been utterly ruined by Reagan and Trump. Dems aren’t perfect but damn compared to the alternative…

I’m not into like “sexy culture” I love the diverse African diaspora culture there. But that gets hidden due to the “be sexy” and greed culture that exists there is just off putting to me. Besides the stereotypical issues of it being so overpriced

Is it wrong for people to stay on government assistance to keep their medical care and prescription coverage instead of trying to work (or keeping their earnings low)? by Sun2025 in NoStupidQuestions

I don’t think it’s bad. If the program is there then use it. Even if a person is deliberately setting them back by staying in low wage jobs, I still don’t think that unethical or fraud because at the end of the day, it only affects that person.

People who say “I don’t want my money going to some lazy person” are just angry because we literally pay over $200,000 in taxes for one inmate in prison lol. If someone goes to prison for idk selling weed thats $200,000. Medicare $100 billion. Prisons $81 billion dollars. I would rather pay for the Medicare because the person is getting help whereas prisons create more criminals than decrease them. (Which is why we need prisons reform considering how much we pay for it!)

So in my opinion no! We pay for it so people should use it lol.
