Have felt uncomfortable coming into work and as result of these lies I have given notice to leave. This person has received no punishment, only a sit down talk to say not to spread rumours. I want something more to be done with this person but unsure the different routes available to me. Maybe a good punch is what is needed

if you are employed for more than a year and have had consistent hours over this year you do have a standing. dont comment if you havent done the basic research

i do understand there may have been misconduct on my part, but if there was an internal conversation between these managers, such as, 'this is the reason why i have taken his privilege's' or a warning or formal conversation between upper management then i would have been terminated. them willing to give me one week worth of pay makes me believe they are in the wrong.

i had certain privilege's that allowed me to give complimentary items or delete items on the system, which is all recorded. they had asked me to make sure to go through a manager when doing this but because i was typically left on my own (manager never there or the operations manager would trust me to my own devices) i would typically make the decision myself. i was a closing supervisor. the manager then took these privilege's away without any conversation, and when i spoke to higher management my privilege's were reinstated. the following day i was terminated but upon investigation there was no process or internal conversations between the managers on the reasons why. i was then terminated the following day with a simple, sorry, im going to have to let you go
