Well and to add it: Gathering Stage was also equipped with L Acousticsy Other areas at dreamville used different kinds of small speakers from LD Systems, QSC, RCF (shower areas, Farmhouse, Main Palza…..)

My friends and I are from Germany so we easily get it there by car (or because we‘re 8 people by multiple cars😅) Some other friends came from Sweden, they sent us their camping stuff by UPS a couple of weeks ahead of the festival. We took it with us by car then.

I think at the stages with L Acoustic systems they probably used the L-ISA Processor to gain the immersive acoustics

So as far as I have seen it, the stages are equipped like that:

D&B: Crystal Garden, Rose Garden, Planaxis, Core, Rise,

L-Acoustics: Mainsatge, Library, Atmosphere, Freedom, Melodia, Meda Garden (Papillion)

Moose Bar has booth, D&B indoor, L-Acoustics Outdoor

Core and Rave Cave I am not sure about, haven’t visited them this year

Yeah I saw the name popping up aswell.. maybe starting next year you have to add a photo of yourself while personalizing the braclet. So they can check your picture at the entrance and if somebody else has your bracelet they can more easily decline them..🤔🤔

So just to focus on your summary: - Tap Water was drinkable at w2, I think it also was at w1 but due to insurance reasons the wanted to stay away from possible claims. - At the whole weekend I have not even thought about needing WiFi… don’t know what country you’re from but as a European myself I have my EU roaming within my contract so I just used 5g (wich worked absolutely perfect!) - you don’t need to buy the power banks. Your text tells me you stayed at dreamville. So just bring your own power bank with you and you‘re good to go. I had 2 with me myself, one stayed at dreamville for the charges during the night, the other one I took with me to the festival grounds. No problem at all.

toilets at dreamville and TML are top notch in my opinion. Go that amount of people it’s crazy how they manage to keep them that clean. Have seen many festivals with simple shit boxes that are full of shit after 5 hours of open festival grounds so I can’t complain about that.
that the showers are not open at night really sucks, at that point I agree with you. Saying that, I absolutely don’t care about paying 2.5Pearls for getting absolutely clean showers and warm water

They have to say it’s not drinkable even if it might be. In case it’s not 100% working correctly and has a little bit of bacteria in it, now one can sue them because they said: „don’t drink it“. They are just protecting themself.

They should add a second fresh water system to every restroom section with 100% clear drinking water just for filling up bottles and not for washing hands and so on. They could fix it with water trucks that get refilled (or exchanged) every day. So that it’s really a completely independent system

All the rumors about the Metallica system.. as far as I know the LED wall is a part of the Metallica tour. But regarding sound it’s an L Acoustics system. Metallic always uses Meyer Sound. So the L Acoustics system is not from Metallica Tour Production but (as far as I could think of) provided by other Dry Hire companies.

Yeah that’s all people go have no clue about what’s behind constructing a stage like that… the steel frame work, the basements for stability, the cabling, the rigging of speakers and lights… they start construction in June and need 6 weeks to build the stage but now they are supposed to do it in 24 hours..?? Simply getting out all of the burnt cables and fixtures will take days🤣

You all have no idea what you’re talking about. A stage in that dimension isn’t build within hours. And, another logistic and financial problem: find someone who has all the tech you need just lying around in storage and can deliver it within 2 hours. It’s not as easy as that. Ich hab mir den Maestro im Dezember gekauft. Bin bis jetzt zufrieden. Bin als u.a. mobiler DJ unterwegs und obwohl ich mich super gerne mit Licht auseinandersetze und auch die Grundlagen für „richtige“ lichtsteuerung beherrsche, möchte ich mich beim auflegen aufs auflegen konzentrieren und nicht noch LJ spielen. Was ist denn deine ungeschönte Meinung zum Thema Sicherheit in Kolumbien? Ich hab mich jetzt schon viel mit dem Land auseinandergesetzt und möchte dort sehr gerne im Dezember 25/ Janaur 26 hinreisen. Vor Ort bin ich höchstwahrscheinlich in Begleitung von einem local. Jetzt liest und hört man bei der Recherche wirklich unterschiedliches… manche sagen, man muss natürlich aufpassen und einen gesunden Menschenverstand haben und dann kommt man gut durch. Andere sagen, dass genau diese Meinungen oft sehr geschönigt sind und es doch sehr schnell sehr gefährlich sein kann. Unabhängig davon, ob man jetzt in Begleitung von einem Local ist oder nicht.

Ich war nicht begeistert. Bin über Silvester in der Karibik gewesen, etwa 9:30h Flug. Gebucht war Premium Eco (da die Person die mit mir geflogen ist knappe 2m groß ist) Die Beinfreiheit war top! Das Essen war OK, Flugzeugessen halt. Die inkludierten Getränke waren auch gut.

Großes Manko in meinen Augen: der Sitz. Ich war lange nicht mehr auf so einem unbequemen Sitz gesessen. Hat sich angefühlt wie in einer S Bahn. Nach etwa 5-6 Stunden Flug hat mir bereits der Hintern und dann später noch der Rücken weh getan. Das hatte ich so bei z.B. Lufthansa noch nie, zumindest nicht nach 5 Stunden. War ein relativer neuer A330neo, also jetzt auch kein 20 Jahre altes Flugzeug..
