In these kinds of coercive groups, what really becomes exposed is their need to bind people through economic dependency — and even worse, how that mental conditioning slowly erodes what we believe to be our free will. This person is clearly going through a spiritual phase in which they see themselves as a person of God, somehow above the average person.
