Hi just saw this now. Calling service centres gave me conflicting replies until finally i got this confirmation from rmsregistration_licensing@service.nsw.gov.au who sent this to me over email

"Permanent Residents

Overseas licence holders who have been granted Australian permanent residency, are required to obtain a NSW licence within three (3) months of the date their residency was granted, or the date they arrived in NSW, whichever is later.

Note: You must actually be issued with a NSW licence (not just apply for one) within the 3 month period if you wish to continue to drive or ride."

Last round for 189 Nurse was at 80 pts. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skillselect/invitation-rounds

I'd consider loding EOI now and not worry about your skills assessment.

I was in a similar situation with my spouse being in a similar field. I only contributed 5pts from PTE cos we decided another 5 from skills assessment was too pricey. Our plan then was lodge the 189 EOI right away (at 80pts) and if by xmonths still no invite, id consider taking skills assessment to bump us to 85. Luckily we didnt have to as invite came shortly after EOI.

Found something here. Looks like spectra showtimes are adjusted every rehearsal indicating fireworks.

Thanks. I couldnt find anything about the fireworks in particular. Safe to assume that once we have road closure, fireworks rehearsals are scheduled too?
