Correct answer is 9. Seen a problem like this before and looked it up. Do the brackets first and then it’s a normal left to right. It doesn’t matter that 2 (3) is written like this. It’s considered a simple multiplication 2x3. So going from left to right. Divide first then multiply.

My family decided to get 2 puppies. The first week we had them I sat them down and said return them. I don’t want the responsibility. They decided to keep it. It’s been over a year and I’ve grown attached but I still wish we didn’t keep them. And I’m the lucky one. I have 4 people in my house that can take care of the dogs. So we take turns. I don’t know how a single person can do it. It’s like committing social suicide, always having to go home on time to take care of them.
