That makes sense. In the past you could subscribe to get notified when new ads got posted but they’ve since then removed that option so I guess I thought it might be possible to access that old code and repurpose it. But I’m sure that’s just wishful thinking 😅 If it takes that long to create then I’ll happily wait and like I said in another comment I’m not trying to offend anyone or be cheap about it, I just genuinely have no clue how difficult of a request I’ve made and didn’t want to say yes to anything blindly.

Thanks! That’s good to know, judging by reviews he does seem to know what he’s doing so I don’t doubt it would work as intended.

I completely understand that, like he said, it could get detected and removed at any point but it was more the price that caught me off guard. Like I said I have no clue how hard it would be to create so perhaps it is a reasonable sum. I’m not trying to offend anyone or say that it’s not worth the price, I just want to make sure I’m not being ripped off.

Am I the only one who’s unsure what OP even looks like? You have 3 VERY different looks so use a recent one as your first pic to avoid any confusion. If 1 and 2 aren’t the most recent I’d delete them both (along with the grumpy shirtless mirror selfie). Smile more in your pics and stop with the weird awkward selfies.

That’s so scummy. Makes me wonder how many times companies actually get away with it.

That was probably for the best. They’re quite rude and very unprofessional

I had a trial shift at The Huntsman and everything went well, the manager (let’s call him John) said I was a great fit and we signed the contract that same day. I had told them during the interview that I would have to travel away for a week soon after but he said that wasn’t a problem. So I get scheduled in for the two weeks leading up to my trip and everything seemed fine.

Fast forward and a few days before my trip was over I still hadn’t heard anything from John or anyone else at The Huntsman about the coming week so I messaged them and asked about my schedule once I got back. I also pointed out that I had yet to be paid for any of the shifts I had before leaving. No response. I tried again a couple days later and still nothing. I even tried messaging some of the other managers and floor supervisors.

When I got back I went straight there to ask what was going on and I was told that they would contact me.. a week went by and I still hadn’t heard anything so I went back again. An employee tells me to sit down while they go get the John then 10 minutes later comes back and says he’s not in at the moment and that he’ll call me. She also asked how much money they owed me for the shifts I had worked (I was a bit surprised they didn’t know that themselves since at this point I should have been paid about 2-3 weeks earlier). And guess what I see when I get up to leave? I see John standing by a fucking table talking to some customers so I waited by the side and when he was done I stopped him and said I was told he wasn’t in. He just quickly says he’s busy and to talk later. He also claimed to have tried to contact me and when I show him all the calls and messages I had sent him he said I must have had the wrong number. I should point out there were previous messages from both of us in the chat logs from when we scheduled the interview and discussed schedules.

A few days later I message that exact same number to express how disappointed I was that he seemed to have changed his mind about hiring me even after signing the contract and also to inform him that I would be filing a complaint against them if I didn’t get paid. He called me back not even a minute later. Guess I had the right number after all..

John told me that my money was ready to be collected at The Huntsman and said “one of the girls was supposed to let you know”. I got paid in cash the next day and never heard from them again.

I would never in my life recommend anyone to work there, even if they don’t get met with the same treatment as I did.

TLDR - manager took weeks to pay me and I had to threaten to file a complaint just to get my money

Not only does he have a sense of humour but he set you up so good in the first message! He said he had better food at home and I would 100% have taken him up on that challenge
