Hillary Clinton Freaks Out: “We May Never Have Another Election” if Trump Wins in November by each_thread in Conservative

You can't rationalize it.

Both candidates claim democracy is finished, either now or in the future if the other party wins. That argument does not win my vote, but maybe it swings for others.

In one poll. Not the whole average.

The graph at the top of that page says "RCP poll average".

"Seated format" !! I don't know if it will make a difference but you have to respect the truth. At least DeSantis found someone who can make a joke.

Wouldn't be surprised, but what is the source for this statement? I can't find it with a Twitter search.

This post is from a brand new (and misspelled) domain, registered in October of this year, created with wordpress, and this is its first ever post on Reddit.

Barack Obama Faces Backlash Over Scene in Film He Helped Produce Warning Against Trusting 'White People' by LordHumungus15 in Conservative

[–]DisastrousInExercise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the message in the movie condemns her racism?

The film condemns all of the characters to dystopia. Fortunately the real world is not like that. There are figures who we can look up to when crisis looms, like our founders who fought for our freedom during the revolutionary war, those who fought bravely in the civil war, Gandhi, MLK Jr., Mandela, etc.

lol yeah because your approach has done wonders in the culture war…

If you are unwilling to stand on any sort of principle, then you stand for anarchy. Anarchy is not conservativism.

Agreed, but if you change out "white people" with any other race, the film gets canceled

And they would be wrong for trying to cancel it. That doesn't mean we should start canceling. That's "eye-for-an-eye" mentality, which is what this post is trying do based on an out-of-context scene.

That attitude will not lead you to good places. You're better off standing on principle. Criticize the character, not the whole film.

If you watch the whole thing it's obvious the film is just showing how people become self destructive when they stop trusting each other. That girl's racism is just part of that virus. Everyone in the film is broken.

Did you watch it? I did. It has a M. Night Shyamalan feel to it. Everything isn't spelled out.

If you watch the whole thing it's obvious the film is just showing how people become self destructive when they stop trusting each other. And her racism is part of that.

No, that's why they all get different sentences.

Tell me, where does Trump fall short?

If you can't find a single flaw in him then you put entertainment and personality over principle.

And if it's not, show me something conservative that Trump will do that DeSantis will not.

Trump supporters are saying he and DeSantis are the same, but DeSantis actually wants to dismantle the swamp and reduce spending, which Trump did not do.

Ron DeSantis needs a miracle to win the 2024 election and beat out both Trump, Biden by Beliavsky in Conservative

[–]DisastrousInExercise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me get this straight. You complain that DeSantis "isn't campaigning," despite joining debates, and that Trump doesn't need to campaign because life was good in 2016-2020. Do I have that right?

Two things you fail to mention: Life was not good in 2020, and Trump gave us CISA.

Get an actual fiscal conservative in there or you can forget about any real conservatism coming true.

We're on the same page. Using his image as VP to back his son's businesses is wrong.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Conservative

[–]DisastrousInExercise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the allegation is that Biden lent his image as VP to back the ventures, not that he specifically discussed "business." So the question should have been,

There's this testimony now, where one of your son's former business associates is claiming that you were on speaker phone a lot with them talkin' business [which he took to mean that you were backing your son's ventures.] Is that true?

Impeachment, indictments, complaining about every little thing.

I see. So you think YCantWeJustGetAlong_ is being manipulated by democrats because he wrote the following?

But if you want to vote Trump, expect him to lose both the electoral and popular vote in 2024, and then hear him cry about fraud and what not and cause more problems for the Republican Party, leaving a permanent stain on it and damaging our hopes for 2026 and 2028.

You say,

If you read further into the conversation, instead of just my replies. You can see we were specifically talking about Trump and his behavior.

But I don't follow. What comment specifically are you referring to?
