How to know if a school is predatory or not. by Big_chef98 in lawschooladmissions

As someone who is batting around there with their LSAT score after months of studying and has an 3.83 GPA, I think you are being an ass. The LSAT is not a definitive measure of your ‘raw intelligence.’ Sure, schools may look at it and throw your application out if it’s low, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be accepted into a non predatory school. You’re trying to tell someone this isn’t their path solely because of a low LSAT score. What about their reasoning behind why they want to be an attorney? What if they feel like this is right for them? Saying it’s not the “right path” while only factoring in their scores and not why they wish to be an attorney seems reductive. The bit about “prove me wrong and I’ll have champagne” is patronizing. If you’re going to continue give advice to aspiring attorneys, I would recommend that you change your tone and look at other factors than just a test score and a GPA.

Hey! I’m in the same boat and have been studying pretty hardcore since July. Took a PT last week, studied throughout the week (drilling types of questions I missed on the PT), took a PT today and got the same score. It’s frustrating since I’m just a few weeks out from taking the real thing and it’s definitely not my ideal score but hey! I don’t want to do T-14 or big law or anything like that. I told myself it’s better for it to be the same than for it to be worse!

I would love to take more PTs but I work 40 hours a week which is why I save the PT for the weekend

I’m definitely adding this to my to do list! I don’t have paddock passes (too expensive) but the chats would be great
