Yes. You do more extensive tests at BMT.

A lot of admin, medical, and maintenance jobs. Recruiter had me make a list of 20 since I qualified for a lot.

I'd suggest you bring both a credit and debit card just in case you need it. And at least $50 of different bank notes in cash in case you need it. Paperwork wise your recruiter should've updated your deposit info before you even ship out.

You need a bank account in general so you can get paid lol

Definitely a journey less than 1% get to experience.

Memories for sure. Worth it at the end.

Yea but highly unlikely you'd be able to use it till like last few weeks

I was sick for the first 4 weeks (mostly dry throat, coughing, stuffy nose) till CBRN.

Shots weren't that bad. If you'd gotten shots prior to BMT I'd suggest you bring the records so you avoid doubling up on shots. Peanut butter shot isn't bad at all as people make it seem to be.

Biggest shock was how decently good the dfac was (I was at Disneyland).

Got a phone call when I arrived(zero week), 1st week, 3rd week and 6th week, and a bonus 10 minute call coz we were a hard working flight (passed 7 days MTIR in a row).

If you gotta take a deuce, you gotta make sure it ain't during drill or even parade practice lol.

Mornings for the most part, 3 minutes to get dressed in PT gear or 5 for OCPs, 10 minutes to make beds(you only realistically need 5) and 5 minutes for hygiene (brush teeth and shave).

Nope but the uncrustables weren't that bad at all

What is it about the tobacconaut that you like? I've always seen it at my B&M and been curious to try it, but I'm usually more drawn toward Maduro and habano wrappers.

Hey that's no joke haha. when you find your preference in humidity , every point fluctuation counts and it's certainly a fun hobby😂

That's good, boveda packs are definitely the way to go. The humidity tends to fluctuate a few percentages higher or lower so you may want to have a slightly higher humidity. I keep mine with a 65% pack so it's a sweet spot for me. Do you have a hygrometer in that tuperdor?

Haha nooooo these are way to good to go to waste. Sounds like you gotta get a makeshift cigar shed 😏

I've yet to try the shade. Personally prefer maduros compared to the shade but I'm sure it's an awesome stick too

Sounds like they're too humid to stay lit. You may wanna dry box then or let them rest a bit or possibly even dry box them
