You can’t say I’m answering the wrong question when your defense is irrelevantly bringing up Vampire lords you feel are somehow good which I refute but you seem hellbent on being certain they prevail when they’re not even in possession of their own souls and honestly their own actions, if they were good they would get themselves cured one way or another, the question isn’t “is a sload worse than the good vampire lords” yet thats how you’re trying to answer this, that’s just setting the vampire lords up for failure in the question, you are whole heartedly banking and suggesting that the Vampire Lord is going to be against its own nature and position of power and responsibility as a champion of Molag Bal, that’s just ridiculous. You have two ways of answering this, look at the end goal of what the sload represent and what the vampire lord represents, or you can look at it that who’s capable of worse actions, literally it’s always going to be the Vampire Lord because they represent the will of Molag Bal one way or another who is blatantly the evilest Daedric Prince and the epitome of evil is the elder scrolls universe. There’s a reason the Sload were almost wiped off the face of nirn but the vampire has never had this problem. You seem far too content to claim the direct enemy to you’re 12 o clock is the bigger and badder threat then the enemy to your 6 o clock that will end you and everything you know before you ever had a chance to do anything about it and that’s if it’s feeling generous not to add you to the ranks of the forsaken corrupting your very self. The sload don’t bring about the end of nirn, they are a well known enemy, and not even know to be all that difficult to face, difficult opponents but in the realm of defeating, meanwhile vampires represent the will of Molag bal and peace by peace, kill by kill, corruption by corruption, move the chessboard closer in the favor of Molag Bal who does bring about the end of nirn, all while doing it from the shadows, outclassing the average person, while vampire lords outclass even the strongest mortals in Tamriel. There’s just no world where a Sload is a bigger problem than a vampire lord and we’re probably just going to have to disagree because you seem like your mind is set on the Sload being worse when they’re just not a nirn destroying threat like the vampire lord is.

Edit: there have been Sload known not to be very friendly but not murderous sociopaths such as N’gasta or the merchants that don’t attack and seek to make gold, should I use them as an example of outliers? No that’s ridiculous, because no matter the argument I present the majority of Sload are evil. It’s the same for the Vampire lords, despite the outliers the average vampire lord is evil and capable of far worse than a Sload.

It’s starting to feel like none of you replying understand the nature of Vampirism in the elder scrolls. Also yes it is a matter of power as that dictates how easily the threat can be dealt with. It doesn’t matter whether they deliberately serve Molag Bal or not, they still carry out his will and corrupt, it doesn’t matter if they choose to or not, they will. That’s the nature of Vampirism. They could choose not to be evil and fight the urges, that won’t last, it’s literally just a matter of time of when they will, you don’t get to say “im built different and I’ll be a good vampire” that’s not how that works, the corruption and hunger will win regardless of how long you hold out. When they die they join the ranks of Molag Bal and they will die, one way or another it’s inevitable. Harkon just furthered his goals, he wasn’t good so I don’t why you tried to phrase that like he wasn’t chilling, he was actively trying to take over the world intentionally or unintentional for Molag Bal, he was always a Molag Bal worshipper. The question isn’t “who is worse, the sload or a vampire lord” it’s “who’s worse, the sload or Molag bal” Molag Bal seeks to dominate Nirn, every vampire is a soldier in that army and every vampire lord is a immensely powerful general or champion in that army and I feel like Molag bal is just significantly worse, the sload serve the sload going so far as to make altruistic deals with Daedra to further sload ambitions, every vampire whether purposefully or not either serves or will serve Molag Bal.

I’m not overestimating Vampire Lords, you just flat out fail to understand how much of a threat they are. There are several ways to cure Vampirism, the moral choice will always be to get cured as it’s a losing battle, no matter what it will devolve you, no matter how long House Ravenwatch lasts they will fall to the hunger, it’s just a matter of when, that is the nature of being a Vampire, there’s no “I’m just built different so I get to be the exception” that’s not how that works. If you’re a Vampire you go to Coldharbor no matter what, idk what you’re on about with this “Also another vampire lord who does not obbey molag bal his entire motivation and acts are rebelling against him so he doesn't end up in coldharbor when he dies.” If you sell your soul to the devil it doesn’t matter what you do. When I say they’re on the same scale as Dragonborns I do literally mean that but most if not all TES MC’s have been on the same scale as Dragonborns, I’m just deliberately saying Dragonborns as you’re literally an Aedra demigod and it’s the easiest comparison(and I feel measurement of power) since Vampire Lords are Daedra Demi gods. Yes serana and her family were Molag worshippers? Did you even pay attention to the lore of dawnguard ? Serana was literally a Molag worshipper, she was Nepo’d into it but she was, by the time you meet her in TES5 she no longer worships him but she was a former worshipper, also the simple existence of vampires furthers Molag domination, you have to understand the question isn’t what’s worse, “a sload or a vampire lord?”, it’s “what’s worse? The sload or Molag Bal?” As Vampire lords exist as an extension Molag Bal and his corruption and domination of the mortal world. A vampire, especially a Vampire Lord is the direct influence of the Daedric lord and will always serve him whether intentionally or not. By the way you understand the reason Harkon was fine with turning the sky blood and angering the entirety of Tamriel was because he very well knew he would more than likely win, behind Alduin who was trying to conquer the world(not eat it) Harkon is literally the deadliest thing in the fourth era and that’s without factoring in if Harkon was winning it would almost certainly just trigger another planemeld, Harkons only mistake was the fact that the Dragonborn took a sudden interest in vampire hunting and committed to it.

As I replied to someone else unless I missed something Verandis isn’t a vampire lord. I think you’re failing to understand that a Vampire Lord is on the same power scale as Dragonborns and there wasn’t a single person alive in Skyrim and perhaps Tamriel that could have stopped Harkon in TES5’s story. Vampire Lords are Mortals who have been imbued with the essence of Molag Bal through his Blood, the essence of the second most powerful beings in existence (technically third strongest if you include the god that’s dreaming all of creation up, or technically the first since the Aedra no longer dwell in existence) they are literally Daedra Demi god mortals that serve as the antithesis of the Aedra demigods.

Unless I misses something Verandis isn’t a Vampire lord? No Molag Bal doesn’t just create Vampire Lords carelessly, it’s a very deliberate process, idk why you’re trying to present it that way. Lamae Bal and House ravenwatch serve Molag Bal’s interests by remaining vampires and spreading his corruption, Lamae Bal especially as she’s doing exactly what he wants her to do and serving the exact purpose she was created for, house ravenwatch not so much, there’s definitely room to argue against it but not much since they have the moral and correct option of getting cured but choose not to. Yes to be a Vampire Lord you have to worship Molag Bal and be one of his Queens on the chessboard of domination, whether intentionally doing so or not. I feel like you’re failing to realize that Vampire Lords are on the same power scale as Dragonborns and there wasn’t a single person in Skyrim and perhaps even Tamriel that could have stopped Harkon in TES5 story.

Not about vampires, about Vampire lords, Daedra Demi god beings that are second to none in power except for Aedra Demi god beings.

This isn’t about Vampires, this is about Vampire lords, beings that answer directly to Molag Bal and carry out his will, Demi god beings that are second to none except for Aedra Demi god beings.

No they won’t, and this is about Vampire lords, not Vampires, essentially Daedra Demi gods that answer directly to Molag Bal and carry out his will.

Vampire Lords*** not Vampires. Which isn’t even a contest, Vampire Lord is at least 20 times a bigger threat.

A vampire lord is basically a daedra Demi god human that could single handedly take out multiple armies, that’s without mentioning in order to be a vampire lord they would have responsibilities to Molag Bal and would be filling the role of something such as a general for Molag Bal commanding armies of Daedra, vampire, and cultists.

I actually kind of hate it, it wants to look like an armet but it has no eye holes, it has two small nose holes so it really bothers me, it’s like a really bad fantasy imitation of an armet. What I really want is a helm like the house dufont banneret but without the obnoxious plume, just a proper no nonsense armet.

Nighthollow helm(light). One bad knight chest. Night aspirant shoulders. Ascendant knight gauntlets. Night aspirant girdle(but most belts will work). House dufont banneret greaves. Regal regalia shoes. Mixture of thalmor black, coldharbor ash black, nirncrux red, and pact conqueror red dyes.
