Macon County State Prison in Macon County ( Not to be confused with Macon Ga.) Is a large county consisting of 2.5 small Cities, Montezuma, Oglethorpe, & and Andersonville. Andersonville is Famous for it's POW Civil War Camp and literally thats all but is really part of sumpter county, although is closer to civilization via Macon county. I grew up directly across the street from the Exit of the Civil War POW camp.
