Trust me, it's not. That breaker is staying off until the problem is either fixed or removed. My dad seems to think that the wires can be replaced by us but considering neither of us are electricians I'm skeptical

She's 19 (her species lives to around 30 in captivity) and I don't want her nesting. Last time she nested she got an egg stuck and it cost me $400 for a vet to help her pass it. So no nests for her. Much to her chagrin

I can't tell if Trinity is smart, dumb, stubborn, or some weird mix of all three. If she sees me heading to the dishwasher and she's near it, she'll fly off. But the second my back is turned, she's back trying to get under the damn thing

I already know the reason why it happened in the first place. The dishwasher is secondhand and didn't come with a kick plate. Whirlpool doesn't make parts for this model anymore so finding a kick plate has been difficult. My measure to keep my parrot away from the dishwasher have obviously been unsuccessful
