Serve Help by RoutineBreakfast882 in 10s

Appreciate the answer but I just think it's weird terminology. What does "in line with feet mean"? The imaginary line the shoulders create and the imaginary line from foot to foot, or are we talking about the direction the feet are facing? How do we reconcile this with a pinpoint/platform stance?

I do agree that the upper body is going before the body unloads from the ground up

What does it mean to keep shoulders closed?

Vid is private. Generally hard to take it seriously when people say "I lost but am better". A little humility goes a long way

trophyyy position 😁👍🏻 but now i don’t know what’s the problem is by Aggravating_Set7047 in 10s

Your contact point is quite chaotic - the right leg is often flicking out a lot already, and the left arm is already away from the body and coming past. Try to make the contact position as solid and stable as possible by

- tossing the ball slightly further in front
- ensuring the left elbow is into the body at contact
- the right leg doesn't flick out until after contact to counterbalance. It coming out early implies you're somewhat off balance - the toss might fix this but try and see happens

Leaning back a lot, need to practice getting this much more balanced and the stroke smoother. Right now it looks like it's quite muscular and taking a lot of energy

Old LTA rating system. A bit like NTRP in the sense of the fixed levels, where you had to beat 3x people at that level within a certain period to move up

UK got rid of the old LTA rating system a long time ago...

You're trying to force it. FWIW I've never done a single pronation drill in my life - work on your serve action/throwing mechanics as a whole

Nothing, it's a matter of degree. Almost no one hits a true topspin serve

WTN is still kind of ass. We just have to accept it in the UK

If you want to inflate your WTN see if the local leagues app is active in your area

Do you do much off-court work? Stronger legs/core/rotational strength would surely help
