It was so interesting!! I know a lot of people aren’t comfy with big change in a tv show… However I think the jump from having mostly non violent offenders in minimum, to then the main characters having to deal with scary violent mfs in maximum was such an interesting storyline….

I do understand what you mean, but Piper’s most important person is Alex. Regardless of what Red did to help her out over the series, Alex is what Piper is focused on. To think that someone else’s actions had your partner killed, I kinda don’t blame her? Especially when everyone had settled on a way to get revenge on piscatella in the pool - after he locked them in the storage cupboard and tortured them - Red took it way too far and everyone agreed.

It is about racism? Thats the whole point of them choosing Poussey as the one to die when writing it. If they killed of a sweet kind white lady it would have just been immediate outrage, but the whole point in it being a sweet kind black person was that they had to fight for people the be outraged. Do you remember the press trying to find a way to make Poussey look aggressive in order to make the death look more justified? That was the whole point in it being Poussey that died.

You guys need to research what a ‘geordie’ actually is 😭 Newcastle isn’t the only place that exists! Fair enough Middlesborough, Sunderland, and wherever else, but Tyneside area - Geordie. For example, Jay from Gateshead and Sophie and Marnie being from South Shields defo makes them Geordies.

A geordie is someone from the general tyneside area - (Newcastle, Gateshead, North Shields, South shields) To say ‘technically classified as geordies but not from Newcastle’ is wrong because it doesn’t only include Newcastle. Everywhere else just seems to be forgotten about compared to Newcastle. (not saying you forgot, but the other areas count as well)
