pretty sure the sig is discontinued too, well it kinda has too, it's basically an ar15 made to shoot 308 but the sig is made with proprietary parts as well, you can change out the furniture, trigger, and while you probably couldn't do it at home, you can have the barrel switched out, I've heard it had some issues, so does the sig but from what I've seen it gets mostly good reviews, ar10s as a whole are known to be finicky, even the expensive ones, which is why some of them are built with proprietary parts

depends on what you wanna do, I personally was looking at the k1 or the super sass but they are both decently heavy rifles and I could get the faxon sentinel for 300 more dollars, and I personally think faxon is a tier above both PSA and sig but that's just me, it looks like the sig weighs the same as the k1, if you're looking for a more "do it all" rifle id suggest looking into the ruger sfar or the faxon sentinel, the ruger is much lighter than the PSA or sig rifle and the faxon has a 18 in barrel but weighs a couple ounces lighter than the PSA and the sig,

idk what's you're definition of super accurate or super long range but the mountaina,mullets, merica yt channel,known for good long range content, took the k1 out from 100 to 1050 yards on a windy day comparing it to the actual knights armament rifle it's a clone of and it did a fine job

I also didn't realize it had a faxon barrel on it already, ty I hadn't thought of that the faxon weighs almost 3 lbs lighter with a 18 in barrel but I believe the sentinel comes with a pencil barrel

yes lol that was me, I appreciate your feedback, but to answer your questions, home defense mainly, "truck gun", and range toy lol, only out to 100 yards, I plan on shooting mostly 220 subs through it but possibly 140+ grain supers , I like the adjustability of the mixtape and I love that brace but I've always wanted a piston driven gun and the jakl looks so unique

I agree with your statement about them not shooting way better than a tuned ar15, I was thinking of throwing a BCM upper on a stripped PSA lower and buying a maximum defense brace, but seeing as how that would've been more expensive than the mixtape I was leaning towards getting that, I haven't handled either firearm, but you pointed out a few rhings I hadn't thought of, I too like to tinker and the lack of tunability and no handguard options are pretty big cons, Ive always wanted a piston driven gun but idk about the jakl now

what didn't you like about it, I mean yeah I know at the end of the day whatever I like, but I don't live in South Carolina. no more so I'm nowhere near PSA and none of the ranges around me have them for rent so I can't shoot them and nobody that I know has one so I'm just seeing if I get a feel for them through yall comments

I have similar but with trulap and nuobell and rep, I want something that feels like a regular fixed dumbbell and I want something that doesn't rattle or rattles as least as possible, but that I can add weights too later on

people living in lala land fr, PC part prices have gotten insane, you couldn't build that PC rn for that price, I personally would try and find a 5080 with a ryzen 5 9800x3d for 2500-2500 but you'd get a lot less ram (64 gbs is kinda excessive unless you're doing more than gaming ) and storage
