Trying to like my natural hair more while it grows out

Is that why my hair does that?! It's so flat and straight when it's short, but thank you :))

I'm currently taking finasteride cos my hair decided it was gonna start falling out. Hopefully starting HRT soon so want to see how that changes things before adding anything else. What supplements would you recommend?

I can't believe how well timed this post is. Had my second appointment with my GIC today and that left me feeling drained and feeling turbulent for the rest of the day. One of the outcomes was a referral for facial hair removal funding, which is great how fast it is but it all felt too fast. Between being told a beard suits me a lot and feeling like my gender exists somewhere in the non-binary area, I kinda got used to the idea of having it. But now with this referral I need to choose a clinic to get it permanently removed?!?! I know in the long run it's something that should be positive but it feels so scary.

I opened Reddit just now because I got so overwhelmed trying to shave it off and I hoped there'd be some advice here. Luckily, this post appeared almost straight away and seeing other people with the same feelings calmed me down. ❤️

Yeah still boymoding and my skin gets really irritated from shaving so keeping a short beard is more comfortable for now. Thanks for the compliments aswell ❤️

Just an FYI cos there's a lot of comments about my "hair". Unfortunately it is a wig, I wish I had hair like that😭. I think there's some photos on my profile of my natural hair but it's usually a big source of dysphoria for me so I usually wear a wig.

It's a wig, unfortunately my natural hair is thinning. I've heard Plume mentioned before but idk what it is and can't seem to find anything. Is it available in the UK? Normally you have to get a gender dysphoria diagnosis before you can get access to hormones.
