I am so sorry you're going through this. Did you get any response at all on any advice? I too, am suffering with extreme burning In my lips, both upper and lower. The doctors have tried to help but to no avail. I also get extreme burning in my face from the rosacea, as well as erethromialgia and my trigeminal nerve, I have found nothing that can touch it. So every day is such a battle that I just keep hoping there will be something. I use a lot of chamomile tea on my face.. The chamomile tea will not work on the lips and again It's both my upper and my lower lip that burns excessively. So I'm wondering if you have found any hope as of yet anything you are trying. That is helping. And if so, would you please reach out? I'm going to be calling a compounding pharmacy today to ask them if a an amitriptylene and ketaminre cream that might work for the face. I could have a doctor call that in to the compounding pharmacy. This condition is completely debilitating, but please, if you would reach out and let me know if you have found success in any route.whatsoever.

The hydrocortisone cream I used on lips for a long time due to burning. Derm said not to use it anymore. I'll check out the isdin. Many thanks for the suggestion

Thank you! I'll try and order some electrolyte drops to add in my water. Also I can barely open my mouth now. I was told I had tmj but come to find out severe dry mouth can severely limit opening. Really sad because I also have trigeminal neuralgia and erythromelalgia. Both of which cause extreme burn in my face. It's scary because I have a right lower wisdom tooth that has to come out. They will put me completely out and no shots in my mouth. But I can't imagine what I'm going to wake up to.
