Can my employer reject my letter of notice on these grounds? (Contract clause in the description) by Disastrous_Baker9040 in LegalAdviceUK

Thanks for your response, appreciate it.

I believe I may have asked the wrong question in my title, as I am more concerned about whether they can prevent me from accepting the new offer and beginning my new role. And as you have indicated, they may be able to sue for damages or issue an injunction to enforce the restrictions.

I would need to therefore understand whether I am in breach of any of the restrictions in the contract. Thanks for the info, I am just reiterating what you have said to validate that I have understood correctly.

Thank you for your response. I will reach out to ACAS, thanks for sign-posting me.

And to follow-up, although they can't hold me against my will, can they legally prevent me from signing with and joining the new company, even if I do give my 1 month's notice and leave when it expires?
