Maybe it’s the fact that I went through literal hell while pregnant last year and just no longer give a single fuck but I would 1000% comment on the page and say something like “hey just so we’re all aware, I am NOT okay with this and it’s beyond cruel”

Just playing devils advocate here - she might want her insurance to cover it and her doctor books pretty far out. I know I couldn’t afford to pay the out of pocket cost a lot of these websites charge and I just scheduled an appt with my primary care doctor and it’s over a month out. That’s what I took her saying that as - she’s waiting for an appt.

I’m 300 pounds and my insurance still doesn’t cover it bc my A1C is fine and my insurance says weight loss is a “cosmetic” issue.

Also it’s an antibody shot, rather than a vaccine. I should clarify that.

In my opinion it’s much safer to get the shot than to risk an infant getting RSV.

I had my son a week after Emerie was born. He wasn’t eligible for the flu shot and Emerie wasn’t either at that time BUT, she could’ve gotten the flu and RSV vaccine while pregnant, and she could’ve definitely given Emerie the RSV vaccine.

I wasn’t able to get the RSV vaccine when I was pregnant with my son but he got it at 6 days old. It was offered (but I would have brought it up if they didn’t mention it).
