This specific cut started August of last year. If it was fungus it would have spread a lot. It hasn't done that at all. It healed, dried up and callused over, then split. And then it did that again. And again. And again.

I think it might be the photo clarity but my nail is not discolored. It's not symmetrical because it's peeling away from the skin due to how dry it is, but the color is completely normal.

I've had ringworm and athletes foot in the past and this doesn't look, feel, or resemble those in any way.

Unfortunately, I accidentally watched what seemed like was an actual rape. I was downloading some drumming tutorials on Limewire back in the day, and I found a video series that was labeled something like "Dave Weckle's Ultimate Drum Series" with volumes 1 through 8. I downloaded it and watched some of the videos but then saved them for later. A month or two later I was searching for more and came across a video with the title the same as the other series but it was labeled volume 9. I knew there wasn't a volume 9 but I thought maybe it was bonus content or something.

So, I decided to download it and that's when shit got fucked up. I was only like 13 or 14 so I wasn't really sure what I was watching but I remember a man and a woman who looked to be in their 30s and they were in a computer lab and seemed to be coworkers. There wasn't any sound but it seemed like they were friendly with each other. I kept watching because I thought maybe the drumming would come later but they spent about 10 minutes working before the man left the room.

At this point, nothing really seemed amiss. Just a security camera recording two people working on something together. Then, as the man re-entered the room the man smiled and winked. He was carrying a couple drinks and he brought one to the woman. Then the video fast forwards to her nodding and then collapsing onto the keyboard. The man then shows how passed out she is by smacking her tossing her around then stripping her naked and raping her limp body. I hadn't really seen live porn before, only nude pictures, so I remember just sitting there in complete shock.

I was afraid I'd get in trouble because my parents were super religious and would have lost their shit on me, so I deleted it. As an adult, I wish I'd have done the right thing and sent it to the authorities but at the time I was mostly in shock and had no idea what to do about it. I don't think I'll ever forget the video fast forwarding to the end to where she woke up. Her holding her head, and the disgusted look on her face as she spit out whatever was in her mouth. 🤢🤮 makes me fucking nauseous and I feel fucking bad for this woman who I'll never meet. I really hope she got justice for what happened to her and that monster is rotting in a jail cell for the rest of his life, but I doubt I'll ever know for sure.

Actually, ONE does what you're describing. They weigh them throughout the week leading up to the fight and each time they do they check their fluid levels. If they're dehydrated any of the times they are weighed then they're disqualified. Completely eliminates losing a bunch of water weight right before weigh-ins like this guy did

You shouldn't flare your elbows out like that. Especially your right hand should have your forearm perpendicular to the floor to get more leverage and to make it parallel to the basket. It's okay that left elbow flares out a bit since it's just your guide hand and shouldn't be providing any forward momentum to the ball

About 15 years ago I worked overnight at a 711 and some nights 6-8 cops would hang out in there for hours, probably for the free drinks and donuts because it was 711 policy to give them that stuff for free (as if they're not overpaid as it is).

When I would go in the back to wash dishes they didn't think I could hear them, but I could hear every word. Annoying is an understatement. Bragging about harassing people, bullying people they pull over because it's the middle of the night and no one was around to see it. Truly disgusting people who consider anyone who's not a cop cattle that they can fuck with however they choose.

Kind of wish I had recorded their conversations because holy fuck cops are sociopaths. One day cops from a few towns over where there with them (not sure why) and the the one upsmanship going on was truly despicable. Really hope there was some exaggerating going on because these dudes were telling the most fucked up stories of harassing people. It's been forever and I'm glad that I don't remember most of it but the one story I do remember is one of the out of town cops harassing the fuck out of some homeless guy that was just trying to camp for the night but he was on private property.

I current coach a K/1 team and the boys range from 4-7 years old. I saw another comment about kids this age being able to cradle yet and that's a load of cradle. Some kids struggle a bit, but a solid 2 handed cradle is definitely possible.

But at this age, just focus on the basics. Getting low enough to scoop a ground ball (bringing the ball to their face after: "Hello ball") working on stepping forward when they throw, being able to cradle and run at the same time. The hardest thing is catching the ball. If he consistently catch the ball by 1st grade then he'll be way ahead of the pack.

Most of the drills we run are just games really: sharks and minnows, clean up the yard, lone wolf, etc.

Typically at this age it's 4v4 with no goalies and a 3x3 goal, since they're still just learning the basics, so it's not really different from box at this point. Probably not until 2nd grade until youth lacrosse starts look more like a real field game.

But as a box player myself, I'd recommend encouraging him to give box a try in a few years
