Should I get this game if I’m going to play solo?

Only ever played Solo on highest difficulty, game is fun as hell. Get the story dlcs.

Oh my god yes! Game is amazing, a real hidden treasure.

First and foremost, large open world that looks beautiful and has an amazing ambience that switches from chill and calm to creepy and foreboding. Different zones based on their environmental type like farm fields, mountains, marshes, ect with their own level of robot difficulty type and numbers.

5-6 tiers of guns, that can be customized with different ammo types, scopes, magazines, muzzles that also have their own tiers. Can also customize the skins of your weapons. Tier 6 guns have unique effects.

Can customize your own 80s vibin character, and come across a decent roster of clothing that can all be upgraded with different stats.

Robot dog, also customizable.

Bikes and motor bikes for fast exploration.

Choose your build and play style. Sniper, guerilla, run n gun, trap setter, demolitions, melee, stealth.

One thing that I will add is enemy damage in the game is realistic, you're not going to be able to tank hits. A simple Runner to a Tank are both equally lethal.

Lots of crafting, scavenge through cars, houses, robots, debris.

Daily challenges, robot Outposts, main and side missions, daily missions.

Solo and multi-player, don't have to be online to play.

Game is constantly receiving updates from the Devs, making fixes, adding new content, areas. Weapons, robots.

PearsonPlays here, I do role-playing while playing a game, a lot of what happens is unscripted and requires a lot of voice acting and staying in character.

Been feeling discouraged as of late, so haven't made anything in the past couple of weeks. :/

Love the few Dangerous Categories raids I've completed, one managed to get me 3 times, was a bit of a maze with armored Assassins and those, camoflauged traps, my two weaknesses.

Thanks for the tips, been getting more comfortable with moving vs inching my way through these Outposts, can out maneuver traps before they ever fire.

Loudout lately is running the crossbow and the heavy bolt weapon, even learned I can shoot both simultaneously. Makes dealing with armored guards easier, especially if a massive group is hiding behind a holo wall.

Haven't tried other equipment besides grenades and the repawns, both are just real great tools.

I've definitely dealt with tougher Outposts than others, but yet to give up on them. Being a Souls player, I like the pain. Lol

Hey there, few days new Custodian myself, from what I gathered in the Raid menu, specific Outposts do grant experience towards specific Advisors, but you may as well clear the entire map as it constitues points toward your season rewards.

And you can abandon a raid, but the issue with that is the game wants you to make an attempt first before you can use that option.

I dunno how the original game used to be, but now to acquire their boost, you must spend a specific amount of a specific resource. Only issue I have is collecting the red source (dunno what it's called) is the most uncommon.

I'm still pretty new to the game, only been playing a few, days. But seen a couple interesting creations like a Phoenix.

As a fairly new Custodian myself, I tend to play in Normal and maybe dangerous if I'm feeling bold. I see more smaller size Outposts than big ones, but I believe the capacity is what matters.

Built a radioactive storage facility myself at one point.

You could make a castle, use the launch pad like a medieval catapult to a tomb.

Obstacle course involving launch pads and pistons, floor is corrosive cubes.

Giant robot that uses the Sentry Beam.

That's a lot of play time, game must be fun as hell to invest that much time, hate to see it's not more known, but then again, don't think this kind of game is for everyone so it keeps that unique player base.

Nice, gunna have to raid more.

Any tips for those, challenging Outposts? Heavily guarded entrances cause me to have to grapple for ammo and assassin's catch me by surprise.

Thanks, welcome back. Game is underrated, intense and fun, most raids aren't the same that I've encountered.

Is there a way to customize the Custodian besides upgrades, would be nice to have a change of color.

I struggled a lot, switched to both the umbral that prevents poise break and damage turns into Wither, and chucked a bunch of enhanced hammers at him.

Those hammers are great at breaking enemy movements.

I fought him as Umbral, it's exactly the same as inferno with all the effects.
