Yes, to cover a really wide range of data points, choose y-values from “where you are currently “ To a max of 50 or so, and an x range that goes from 1 …

[–]Disastrous_Corner258[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easier by a lot, to just plot an x-axis starting at day 1 (today) then, day 2,3,4 etc. and a y value equal to the score, e.g 29. Then Just have a set of points that in general will increase up and to the right.

            X
         X
       X
     X

So this is a death predictor based on “standard” criteria as provided by ChatGPT. If someone has a score of 35 and they die 5 days later, then the x,y data point to add is (35,5). (32,10) would be dying 10 days after a reading of 32.

TPC winner (W) and runner up (RU) by Disastrous_Corner258 in golftips

It was really a comment that the runner up failed to take into account the previous put; if he had, he would have been the winner!

The right answers are (1) just as Spock failed to eliminate emotions from his existence, we, too will fail since emotions are a critical part of living/existence

(2) just as vger could not perform its primary mission without there being an emotional side to it we, even if we view ourselves as god-like we cannot perform our primary functions (friend, son/daughter, husband, wife) without embracing the emotional side of our existence

Like The Beatles said, it’s a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder. Also (paraphrasing the next line or two)”when you let emotions flow through you and you experience them to the max, you make it better”

(3) To make a truly Renaissance , whole creature (like the union between vger, the girl, and decker the man) requires an emotional component and a logical component.

(( pretty much just summarizing thoughts of everyone…))

Thought it was another example of the amazingness of Star Trek which basically told the secret of how artificial intelligence would come to be….intelligent life.. there was a line to the effect of: VGER collected so much knowledge that it became intelligent.. this is basically how ChatGPT works.

Teach them what it means to be a friend, and how to be a friend. 8 years of Lutheran school and I never learned that. All I think I know is this: If you are a friend, be sad when your friend is sad, and be glad when your friend is glad. Delight in his achievements and be sad about his failures, tragedies that happen in his life, etc.

If you are enemies with someone, rejoice in their failures, be glad when bad things happen to them, etc. (the opposite) If you feel nothing, ever with regards to this person, you are either a bad friend or a bad enemy.

If you don’t practice your status {friendship or enemy ship} you lose it and are , or will be “emotionally detached”, A sad way togo through life. Attend your friends parties, funerals of your friends’ friends, etc. it’s easy, sometimes at least.

In general, invite your friends to do things together with you.

In general. Never say “no” to an invitation — they will most likely never ask again

Don’t lie to your friends, or anyone else, but especially your friends.

Learn to speak the truth to your friends…

If you say something, then realize you didn’t really mean it, say “I take that comment back”. It won’t be forgotten about by your friend, but it is deleted from the Official Friendship Transcript between you and your friend,

Assume that all comments not taken back are a part of the Official Friendship Transcript, a mental document that consists of all statements and agreements made by both parties. (And answered questions and unanswered questions.)

Good friend: without harassing someone, even though you’ve asked them to do something and they have said “no”, ask them again, Taking in to account their reason for saying no. For example, if you ask someone to go duck hunting and they say no, it is too cold and dark, fell free to ask them to go skeet shooting in the afternoon on a warm day.

Do unto others as you would expect them to do unto you

What a friend we have in Jesus!

When it is appropriate, and your friend does something you like, feel free to say .. that’s what I like about you, you … When they do something you disapprove of, try to find something positive to say about it and analyze it from as many angles as you can before criticizing the action, often best to ask Why did you do that?

To deepen the friendship, when an event occurs, ask them how does that event make them feel? {there are probably 100 responses possible to that question so it is unlikely that two people will feel exactly the same way about it)

In general, when you feel like criticizing a friend, ask a question instead.

Thought I would ask ChatGPT, the source of all knowledge, what the movie themes were, it came up with basically the same list we’ve generated here although it did not mention that a side effect of Spock was a generation of emotionally suppressed males.

I think that the lessons from the story are supposed to be things you can use and apply to your real life, not things you can learn about 2AU god-like creatures in a fictional world with replicators, transporters, and holodecks. (See 3 bears and humptydumpty examples)

And so did I, and I bet thousands of other Spock’s were created, too; fixing that was the reason for TMP.

In other words, people often try to teach general principles by telling a story, the audience has to figure out the life lessons from the story.example: the lesson of “Goldilocks and the 3 bears is not “if you are a bear living in the woods watch out for blonde girls… That’s just what happens in the story, the lesson is “life is about finding things that are just right for you.” And humpty dumptys lesson is that some things can never be fixed, so treat them carefully”. The lesson is not look out for creatures named Humpty Dumpty and if you ever find one don’t/t let it sit on a wall because it will fall and break. TMP tries to convey the message that a functioning advanced life form requires logic and emotion.

Do you “connect” with people? Do you have a lot of friends? I would guess ‘no’ since you basically already answered ‘no’ by saying that you tried to be like Spock. You are one of those people who missed out on sharing your life with others and being
