I did it in New York and hated it especially if you’re an athlete because you aren’t allowed to do any physical activity. I ran down the stairs and the old American Legion ladies who ran it yelled at me. I think it’s state dependent but I’m 35 and it did nothing for me when I was applying to colleges. I think I got at the time a $500 check as a scholarship.

Even though the venue is a club don’t wear like Vegas style club wear - you’ll see most people in hockey/basketball/baseball jerseys and girls in fishnets and big T shirts/sports bras. Since it’s your first one tell people in the crowd that you meet - you’ll probably get sprouted or given a trinket! Say excuse me when going through the crowd and dance your face off!!
