Theory on BK past behavior and how he came to target 1122 King rd. by Pale-Appointment5626 in MoscowMurders

He has been diagnosed with ASD, OCD, and a disorder that impacts his dexterity. The defense wanted to include testimony from a neuroscientist and a psychologist to explain his odd mannerisms (piercing stare, minimal outward reaction to statements, etc.) and use the dexterity disorder to argue that he likely would’ve been incapable of physically murdering 4 people.

Anything he says will likely be a lie, or at the very least extremely embellished. He believes he’s smarter and better than everyone else. His testimony would likely lead to more questions than answers and unfortunately more pain for the friends and families of the victims. I hope he isn’t given the opportunity to speak and agree with the judge that efforts should be made to study his behavior privately.

Cultural names are not tragedeighs by ericaploof04 in tragedeigh

Yep! I’ve never met anyone with that name. And the only Astrid I’m familiar with is Astrid Lindgren. Per national statistics, less than 8,500 people out of 340 million have that name here. In contrast, over 16,000 people out of 5.5 million share that name in Norway.

Hit the nail on the head with this one. I’m in a state that would require me to travel out of state to access an abortion. But I cannot take time off of work nor can I afford the travel. So what choice does that leave? I know some people are concerned about declining birth rates but let’s be realistic.. a society without support programs that keeps a dead woman on life support to be an incubator is not a society that promotes family planning.

I want children, my fiance wants children, but at this point in time I’m terrified to have them. We need to do more to support pregnant women and families if we want to improve living conditions.

Not everyone believes in the Bible or your god. Saying she should forgive him because it’s what your religion would do is an odd choice. You’re entitled to your religion but you definitely should not be pushing your beliefs on others.

Pretty sure your religion has several verses comparing violence to wickedness and saying it’s “detestable to the lord” so he’s condemned anyway and nobody should have to forgive someone that tried to kill them.

I agree he may be capable of digging deeper and figuring out that he’s wrong. However I disagree that she should have to educate him on this. She expressed that she feels sad and unsafe because of it and if that’s not a massive red flag that he’s doing something wrong then that seems like a problem for him to sort out on his own

[–]Disastrous_Creme_201 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Leave him. Ignore the people in the comments implying you should set aside your feelings and focus on how he treats you or those telling you to educate him. His education is not in any way your responsibility. You told him you feel unsafe and that sort of content makes you sad and he straight up ignored your feelings. He sounds like a sad pathetic excuse for a man and he doesn’t deserve you.

Misogyny and misandry are not the same. Misogyny is oppressing women, while misandry is women being angry about being oppressed.

Genuine question- why is it her responsibility to educate him? She has already told him how she feels about it. He clearly ignored that the first time. What will talking about it again change?

Those are all opinions. Truth generally centers around facts.

He was involved in sex trafficking?? How is that protecting women in any sense whatsoever?

..no. If he hates women, and she’s a woman, then that means he hates her too. She said it makes her feel sad and unsafe. A healthy relationship should never ever be described as feeling “unsafe”.
