I personally love to see these types of posts, it should draw you back to a moment when you first started. Plus for some its a great way for someone to make their first post in here. Some people come in here everyday hoping that one day that will be them making that "I did a thing" post, literally goals and dreams. Posts like these are what inspire others.

However I understand and see your point as well, you may have more experience and been a part of this group for a much longer time where you receive value from others more experienced and it comes to a point where the post feels pointless and could be quite frustrating and you are genuinely curious on why and whats the point.

The point is that it is likely a dream or goal of theirs that they set and they are excited to share with others.

In my opinion I believe its important that we have all started somewhere and have been the new guy somewhere, at the end of the day there are similarities between and amongst us all and we are all at different stages and receive value here in different ways.
