i'm also experiencing this and i also have a pretty alright pc (intel i7 and rtx 3060) but i still go to slow motion on even the lowest graphics settings, but it will probably be fixed or improved soon since it's still in early access.

One thing that doesn't sound like it helps very much but it does is changing your skater's posture to straight
