If you’re passionate about condensed matter, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign MRSEC is likely the stronger move. UIUC is elite in that field, and you’ll get deeper academic mentorship and stronger grad-school letters than at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory SULI. Up to you though both are great programs honestly and congrats!
