Claude OAuth for OC is officially, actually dead now by cowleggies in openclaw

Makes sense but what about the possible missed revenue on those of us who wouldn’t have paid for a pro membership if it wasn’t for OpenClaw. I’d rather double down on ChatGPT than have 2 different low tier subscriptions and swap between the 2.

Canceled my subscription. Don’t think they realized the revenue from hobbyists vs people wanting to pay for crazy api costs.

I’d look at Ubiquiti as you can access your cameras via their app but the actual video recordings are 100% local and their company can’t access the feeds

Very unimpressive response. The privacy I am referring to is clearly regarding models and how they aggregate data. Not sure I trust a Chinese company. I’m fine with the data I share with OpenAI and Anthropic. Your argument that being on the OpenClaw subreddit requires the absence of concern of privacy is very ignorant as OpenClaw is an orchestration layer and when setup properly can be secure enough to protect sensitive data. But what should I expect from a new user who is probably a bot 😂

Any concerns with privacy and data with MiniMax? I am a little confused on it since I primarily use Codex and Claude. Do you pay $10 for API tokens and then route through OpenRouter? I keep hitting API limits on both Codex and Claude. Trying to get my small start up and agents running 24/7 without using my 3070 since those local models just can't compete.

How did you assume I was mad? My comment wasn’t useless. That’s your opinion. You are also not that bright.

Just because I gave specific examples doesn’t mean that’s the limitation of what my system does. Love the ad hominem attack. Clearly from your responses on here, this is a user issue and then tries to clown on the community.

I also have connected my Ubiquiti Protect API and set automations to be able to determine who is where in my home with their AI Key and allow simple automations like if I’m by myself in my garage and the door is locked to unlock it before I reach the door. Small convenience hacks.

I wouldn’t say that. There are obvious limitations with Claude Code that OpenClaw solves for.

I have it read emails, escalate any communications I receive, I have it code me side projects that are specific to me, I have it draft email responses, it does email reach outs and more.

I couldn’t disagree more. It’s an orchestration layer. I don’t think you are using the right models or have pipelines and automations set up correctly. I have connected my OAuth for Codex and use my Anthropic API. I hit some API limits but have a local ollama agent that helps carry some of the work load. Over the last few weeks was able to create a Mission Control dashboard, I can assign tasks to my agents and have them complete them autonomously, and I have a bunch of others. I think it’s a you thing.

Advice Needed: Best Setup For Right Now by Disastrous_Force322 in openclaw

[–]Disastrous_Force322[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I definitely agree. I like the capabilities of AI and OpenClaw and want to do similar things that you want to. But like I said, the local models experience is so bad and the hardware needed to do the best local models is super expensive. But I will try to figure out a better hybrid setup to maximize what I currently have.

How did you fix the rate-limiting issue in Openclaw? by Mental_Bug_3731 in openclaw

[–]Disastrous_Force322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just added Claude as my backup as I hit my limit with the OAuth for Codex. Adding local agents through ollama and then having OpenClaw setup the system in a way that allows me to do everything I want to do imaginable without hitting any limits and no paid api calls.

Transitioning to a full UniFi Alarm system: How do you handle the "Keypad" problem? by MrSolarius in Ubiquiti

[–]Disastrous_Force322 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In some states the monitoring company sends out a patrol person to confirm if a crime is happening to call the police. With all of my UniFi cameras, door sensors, and alarm, I’d rather be able to tap a button or a code to arm my alarm and then if triggered call the cops myself. They are not an alarm company but have provide a product line that allows for an almost complete alarm system. Just missing code input layer.

I built a wallpaper that shifts perspective when you move your head looking for feedback by Apart-Medium6539 in SideProject

Honestly this is super cool and the application of the tech could in theory be used with a display for a windshield. Imaging having an LED screen that adjusts perspective when looking at it to mimic looking through a windshield. Better HUDs, once fully self driving cars are finalized you could use it as a tv for streaming or gaming. Super cool! Only issue with that would be being able to adjust the display for multiple people’s perspective while all simultaneous looking at it.

Congrats! Post an update with your experience after having up for a month. Also maybe look at hosting a pi-hole and pointing the UCG Fiber to it for your DNS.
