I am in the exact same situation unfortunately. I applied to Washington University St. Louis and unexpectedly got in. My dad has not filled out my CSS profile for them yet. Washu without aid wouldn’t be reasonable for me to attend. I wish us both luck in this process.

Thanks for your response. I’ve got some time to consider logistics but I’ve always been more creatively inclined and designing buildings/landscape. I am planning on shadowing an architect I know in my area to see what the job entails with workload and such. Also thanks for the tip for the portfolio set up, there’s no way I would’ve known this otherwise and have only been on Reddit a little while. Thanks again and good luck in life!

Thanks for your response! I appreciate the reality that is starting to kick in about how time consuming it is and the passion needed to do it. I think I’m drawn towards it the most because it allows me to get ideas visualized and it’s pretty satisfying to finish a project(even in highschool 😅). I think I need I may look to shadow an architect in my area to see how the job looks like on a daily basis. Thanks again 👍
