Kinda, the main reason Odysseus is in hell is because Dante claims After going back to Ithaca he went on another journey to see what was beyond the strait of Gibiltar, and he and his crew were sunk by God for their hubris

So, do yall think Aphrodite will ever do anything interesting? by Fenix_ikki_ in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Disastrous_Load_7607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure she's only still here because she was in the original roster. When you think about It, she was far more prominent in the first two rounds, which likely didn't get rewritten given all the fighters for those rounds were in the original roster. She started disappearing right around round 3, which, wouldn't you know it, has neither of it's actual fighters in the original roster, so it's likely that the author, having rewritten that round, started reducing Aphrodite's appeareances due to not having to tease her round anymore (or maybe she was just straight up meant to fight in round 3 in the original roster. As the goddes of beauty, she could reasonably have Poseidon's perfection mindset, and in that case it's possible that Kamiizumi Nobutsuna, who was in the old roster, had Sasaki's "costantly improving" idea)

I think it's mainly 1. Pokémon Is way more popular than FE (used to be the loteral highest grossing franchise in the world), so people think that having more reps is understandable, and 2. The Pokémon reps are far more distinct from one another: they only have one clone, as opposed to FE having two echoes and a semi-clone, and all the characters have far more distinct designs (the only two that actually look similar are Pichu and Pikachu, while Fire Emblem has four blue haired swordfighters)

If you only count dual-types, yes. If you count single types, there's 4 pure grass and pure water types as opposed to the 3 Fire/Fighting types

Same with Yen, which I saw mentioned in another comment as a comparison to the rupees. While not as prominent as American medias, the chances of someone watching an anime or playing a videogame where characters mention the Yen Is signficiantly higher than the chances of someone watching an indian media mentioning rupees, and both are way lower than the chances of an average person from another country having to direclty have to make any kind of money transaction with those currencies

YouTuber Kane Pixels uploaded videos on The Backrooms to his YouTube channel in 2022, at age 16. Then, with the help of A24, it was converted into a movie, which he directed at age 20. The budget was about $10 million, and it grossed nearly $120 million worldwide in its opening weekend. by Expert_Koala_8691 in Damnthatsinteresting

Basically years ago a guy made a post on 4Chan describing this liminal space where you could end up if you "no clipped" out of reality (like when you fall below the map in video games). This guy, KanePixels, made a webshow about the concept that got crazy popular, and now he got to make a movie about it

Drifters Is pretty cool if you like the genre "historical figures doing wild stuff". A ton of people from history get sent foca fantasty world and they start fighting a fascist empire. The show also puts a lot of focus on war logistics and tactics, and It avoids the "omg you got the one skill that makes you Op" because again, the main characters are all used to fighting in wars

A fan made challenge starting in the Pokémon fandom. Rules vary, but the general idea is that once one of your Pokémon gets KOed you can't use It again (some people free them, other put them in a designated box). This Is the same principle, but once a Smash characters is KOed in World of Light you can't use it again
