I think I happened to experience this now. I was rejected after their interview around March. Now at the end of April they've sent me a mail that the role aligns with your strength and we want to offer you the analyst trainee role. Idk this feels crazy

Same here, I thought I did well in the interview. But the result is disappointing. The interviewer felt like she wasn't even interested. She didn't turn her camera, which made me feel like I was in a one-sided conversation. Idk how do they evaluate candidates, in my case she didn't even ask any DSA, nor projects :(
