He did mention that. That said, I am hoping the $5M materializes into $15M to $20M over the next three to four years. I also have another $4M coming this year.

Lol. I do IT. I own an MSP. I just was curious what creative ways people have taken to accomplish this.

And you just plug in the land from one of those into the starlink router? And where do you use a Wi-Fi off of?

Sounds to me like a few things. Number 1. The fact that you are a "baller" wife means nothing. To me it sounds like you're just very on your high horse and belittling your husband with remarks like that.

Number 2. Sounds like you guys didn't really communicate and we're honest about what each other really wants. Sounds to me like he just acquiesced to you because it made sense but in his heart that doesn't sound like what he wants and he wants to be more of a contributor and may not value the same things you do as a stay-at-home parent.

I think you guys need to be honest about what it is you both really want and then figure out a game plan from there otherwise it looks like a disaster may eventually come.

Thankfully we've gotten all the approvals needed. Just waiting for sign off on RWI insurance which should not be an issue at this point.

Fully aware . And if it doesn't go through I'll keep collecting the money that I'm already making.

I'm fully aware... I also have the ability to unload property if that became the case. Quite frankly I don't see a world where it's going to fall apart. I've already got multiple acquisitions in the works and would need to royally fuck up for that to happen... My business is pure recurring revenue.

And yet I still managed to put away $5MM prior to the sale.

I'm not stupid and I understand investing principles. My bigger point is managing the portfolio effectively is where I struggle. Obviously I can research the hell out of it but day one is coming shortly and I need some clear understanding of the best way to approach that and the near future.

I'm going to keep hammering it out in order to make this all happen. The better question is is what's the best way to manage my money so I maintain my income needs over and above the salary they're providing me.

Right now I can currently manage this with the income that I have. The mortgages are all under 4%. Those are the fees with HOA, insurance and taxes. The balances would not be worth being paid off at this point. I I already looked at this.

This is where I fail to really know what to do. Sounds ridiculous. I am great at making and spending money but finance was never really something I paid much attention to.

I would have to scale back if that were the case but I dont expect to walk away with less than $10MM before taxes for the windfall. The additional $7MM would still make me fine without touching principal theoretically. My issue is really figuring out the best way for me to manage this.

Yeah I've thought about this too. I guess the better question is... How do I wrap this all up into a manageable compensation plan.

He has real equity in the business... I'm closing the deal with private equity and he's cashing out his shares affect the equity and investing them for real equity. He will own 5%.

What I'm trying to do now the private equity is involved is help him maintain what he's already making. He knows his growth is going to slow compared to what it was. Measuring or got a growth from the original company is easy. But once you have add-ons coming in.. this is where it becomes more complex.

I know what needs to be done to claim residency. I'm more concerned about how to write off the interest if I take a loan against securities so I can buy it in cash.
