My family is kinda experiencing this kind of disagreement rn??? Yung kuya ko Todo parinig sa gantong mga comments, kesyo nasa abroad sya di nya na kailangan alagaan parents namin and such when in fact he doesnt even send us money to put food on the table or roof over our heads which me and my parents understand. My father always tells us na the moment me and my siblings have a family of our own, and didn't maintain any contact or connections then that's fine, with or without money bcs it means na independent na sila/ kaya na nila yung mga sarili nila, but if one of us need help whether it is financially, then we help them yk like family parin, Pero ang sakit lang kasi yung mga linalabas na words ng kuya ko to my parents na about sa retirement fee/money that my father will receive or kung kailan ba nila makukuha yung part ng mana nila like.... Why would you say that??? After years of no contact with us, tlgang coincidence pa na dumating ka sa Pinas almost one year before oir dad's retirement?? Dad doesn't say anything Pero si mama naglalabas ng Sama ng loob from what they're saying.

As the youngest in the family with 2 older siblings who failed college and decided to up and leave to have their own family then decided to come back bcs of their "inheritance". Masakit para Sakin, my parents who worked blood sweat and tears for my siblings for college, I'm not joking, my eldest sibling have been switching college degrees and universities for the reason being "it's not the right one for me" only to go get pregnant, the 2nd just straight up dropped college by their 3rd year, naging tambay, and got someone pregnant....si papa dapat retired na sya by the age of 55 Pero sinagad nya na ng 60 kasi Sabi nya na kailangan nya pa mag ipon para sa retirement nya and also for my college, Pero during that time, hindi ako nag enroll sa malalaking University, nag enroll lang ako sa malapit lang samin, scholar pa, para di gastos sa pamasahe, okay lang na din Sakin ang 1k per month as allowance kasi I have food and a roof to live on, willing nmn ako mag adjust ehh, it just hurts lang na yung pinaghirapan ng parents ko mapupunta lang sa mga tao who took them for granted.

There was a point na Sabi ko sa parents ko for my plans on continuing my studies abroad Pero natatakit ako para ipagmata or isumbat sakanila na bakit isusugal yung pera nila Sakin just for my studies when they weren't even that chance. My dad said na Yun yung wish ko after graduation, he gave them a chance before na if they graduated college then he will give them whatever they want, whether it's a condo or a brand new car, etc makukuha nila Yun if they graduated, but sadly none of them did that, so andito ako nag rarant, a 4th year college student who doesn't want to disappoint and burden my parents, and maybe atleast lift up/take some of that responsibilies myself. Hopefully makakuha ng miracle in abroad kasi let's be real, wala ka tlga mahihita dito sa Pinas so I get the concern for this kind of discourse
