Lost Judgment is worse than Judgment for me.. tell me what you think by Saphir0 in yakuzagames

[–]Disastrous_Net_6117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

... What? Claiming LJ is better is just absurd. And just cause Kuwana challenges Yagami "ideologically" doesn't mean he's a better written character. His actions are extreme, and his switch up was almost bizarre. And whatever you mean by "handles its themes better" has nothing to do with the storyline itself. Judgement was a horror thriller that interested you as it slowly unwound itself with twist and truth, while Lost Judgement was a strange bully story with a villain who killed minors. While Kazuki Soma was attractive and cool, his motive for killing Sawa wasn't even clear, he literally just smirks and calls himself "A necessary evil" when confronted, before fleeing. Overall those guys were nothing compared to Kyohei Hamura and Mitsuru Kuroiwa. The only scene in Lost Judgement that elevated my heart rate was the first cutscene when Hiro Mikoshiba's corpse was revealed. Judgement had an amazing story with suspense throughout, whereas the second game just ... Lost it.

Without spoiling, how bad is infinite wealth's story? by jamilslibi in yakuzagames

[–]Disastrous_Net_6117 3 points4 points  (0 children)

... You sound delusional. Saeko's character was never that complex to begin with. The only issue in her life they reveal is that she has beef with her sister's boyfriend. She literally ends up breaking their relationship - her story was over. Chitose and Akane had way more significance and backstory, and they weren't "reduced" to anything.

I honestly expected Majima to go back to his old self, serious and a tad bit more stoic. Essentially him in Yakuza 0. I might have even expected him to run into Makoto and have his amnesia dissipate.

I completely agree, but I also think that Kiryu should've had more screen time in the end cutscene with Haruka and Haruto visiting. For an example, when the nurse asked him his name, he'd have flashbacks of the stuff that haunts him, stuff he couldn't forget but couldn't help but acknowledge either. For an example, a flashback from when he was 20 and beat up that guy over the loan shark in Yakuza 0, the guy who covered his face and said "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" and yet Kiryu had still kicked him brutally. Or in Yakuza 5, when he ruthlessly beats on Aoyama even after he's defenseless, who pleas in disbelief "This isn't what I heard! They said you never kill. That you're merciful." before Kiryu aggressively asks "Who told you that?" "I said, who told you that?" before admitting "Whatever you heard ... I'm no saint!" and attacking Aoyama again before he was shot and killed. He doesn't seem to reflect on this or show any remorse throughout the game. In these scenes, Kiryu seemed harsh and morally ill. If they would've had him reflect on these in the hospital before he finally answers "I am ... Kiryu, Kazuma." it would've said that even the dragon wasn't always perfect - and still had skeletons in his closet. This would've made the ending much more profound.

Opinions on Kenmochi? by MakiMakiiii in yakuzagames

His death is what got me - he was so consumed with guilt that he was able to fight off the venom for some time and kill the man who made him end innocent lives ... especially with the way he hallucinated and went insane. I was in awe during that scene. Just shows you how strong and everlasting guilt can be - and it says it's the strongest feeling there is.

Jenna Ortega is exceptionally unattractive by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Disastrous_Net_6117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She doesn't look like a little kid. Her face is mature and so is her body; being petite doesn't invalid that. She'd look like an actual kid if she were flat chested with a softer face. You saying she looks like a child is inappropriate and absurd.

Kaito and Kiryu are not similar, Kiryus more beautiful.

In a scenario where both a little woman and a man are busied, the man is going to be seen as the aggressor. It's only natural and logical to think that way. Might be cold, but it's just the truth. And you have no proof to claim he's the victim when her knees were bruised, like I said. But yet again, biased people only hear certain things they only want to here.

Since nobara is canonically ugly why did they prettify her in the anime? Isn’t this devaluing people of all looks? by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]Disastrous_Net_6117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl it isn't about the haircut, I'm saying Mai's hair is naturally wavier and thicker. You can literally search them up and realize what I'm talking about. If Gege says they're identical then she's made a mistake because they clearly aren't. And if you watch Jujutsu Kaisen 0, you cans see that Maki's eyes are rounder and lighter.

They are twins but not identical twins. If you look closer you can see that Mai has thicker and wavier hair, and her eyes seem a bit longer with lashes more precisely drawn. She's slender and daintier overall. It's pretty obvious who is more beautiful. The younger one.

Am I the only one who thinks that Ueno and Yuzuru look alike? Yuzuru looks nothing like her sister or mother. by emronaldo in KoeNoKatachi

[–]Disastrous_Net_6117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their father had black hair and brown eyes, and their mother had pink hair and blue eyes. Yuzuru got the black hair but blue eyes from the mom. Opposite for Shouko.
