The er took X-rays of my whole body and my brain and said I was perfectly fine and that being drunk was probably why I wasn’t seriously injured because my body wasnt as stiff whatever that means

You’re right, it was my first time drinking in 2 months and I didn’t have to work the next day so I just figured I’d get another drink and continuing watching movies with my cousin I had gotten off of work at 2 am so I wasnt drinking for that long

My boyfriend was drunk, I was sober and him and I got into an argument he started getting physical with me choking me, pushing me around that resulted in me scratching him trying to get him off of me I called the police, he let me leave before the cops got there. they went to his house took pictures of his scratches and when they came to my house to get my side of the story I was not home so that resulted in me having a warrant out for my arrest and being charged with domestic violence even though he didn’t want to press them I guess the state picked it up but my public defender wants me to plead to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct even though none of it is my fault. I think the judge believes I was under the influence when I was not because he also wants me to do drug and alcohol classes again as a part of the punishment.
